Corporate Entertainment
The club invites you to come and experience the excitement of the game, the beautifully groomed horses with us. We welcome groups, families and individuals to watch the players battle it out for our trophies. Lacey Green Polo Club is proud of its friendly atmosphere and we want our guests to share our beautiful setting and to enjoy the game, many of our players bring the whole family every weekend from tiny tots to young players in the making. Here is some information to make your visit go smoothly.
Do we charge an entry fee?
We do not charge for spectators at most of our games, however on special events or charity days there may be a charge on the gate. If you are looking to come on a regular basis we do ask that you join as a Social Member to help support the club. With this membership you will receive invitations to all social events and special days at the club. Games are catered for where possible by our new Clubhouse which serves hot and cold drinks, sandwiches
and snacks.
When can we come and watch?
For times and dates of play please visit the fixtures page of our website which lists all our tournaments. The draw of teams with times and dates of play will usually be published during the week in which the tournament starts. Draws do change so please double check times before coming to watch!
Safety First Safety Second!
When you arrive at the grounds please make sure that dogs are kept on leads at all times and that you and your family stay well back from the boards of the grounds as ponies, players and balls will come over them during the course of the game. We do ask also that you do not enter the pony lines at anytime. The management cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to persons or property at the club.
Is there a dress code?
We are all about enjoying the game and the countryside so we do not have a dress code at the club – unless you are coming to one of our social events!
But I don't understand the rules?
If you aren't sure about what is going on on the pitch or why the players and the umpires are doing what they are doing there are always plenty of members who would be more than happy to explain the basics of the game, or grab a copy of our programme from the club house to read the rules of the game!
Parking?
You will always be able to park your car but please take care not to park in the pony lines or near horse boxes.
Parking can be found in between grounds by the club house. Or on event days in the designated parking area by
the main gates.
